“ Missed brunch at the hotel. They sent us to Concordia. The cook was running late so we sat on the sunny stoop and waiting till they arrived. The bartender set us up with a couple morning beverages on the house while we waited. When the cook(s) arrived our order was taken and was brought out quite quickly. The eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly to my likeing and the lite cheese and dairy on the side breakfast burrito came as it was ordered. I took a bite of it and it was tasty. ”

“ Amazing little space in the middle of nowhere! Wonderful bartender with a gorgeous mane of hair! We went for the Mercury ;-) and it was absolutely amazing! This is a must go to little hole in the wall that you'll truly enjoy. ”

“ I visited for the first time during Portland Mercury's Wing Week 2021, to try the Bikini Bottom Wings (pictured). They were good! Baked in a pineapple marinade, flash fried, tossed in a poke sauce, and topped with cilantro. Unless you specifically choose to eat any slices of raw jalapeno, in my opinion, they are actually only mildly spicy, but are lightly sweet and maybe just a hint salty from the pineapple and poke sauce. The service was excellent; friendly, professional, prompt, and accommodating. The Ale House was fairly busy, when I was there, around 5pm, but the short line ahead of me was served, efficiently. I really liked the music that was playing - kind of mellow, electronic alternative. "Up On Melancholy Hill" by The Gorillaz, is an example. Just a very pleasant, chill vibe. Nice.
